Content

The application isn't too content heavy and very basic.

However because I'm not creating the content its very difficult for me to build it, due to the speed of the content creators, I am often left in limbo, waiting for them to create the songs and provide facts.

So far I have one of the pages done, not completed but it has content, I need to make this responsive, however just for now I have something within the application.

Foundatio

I've started building the foundations for the application.

The colour's I have picked suits, the whole movember sort of feel to the application, it uses black and white predominately.

I haven't added many features yet, just set the basics up, allowing users to hit the menu and scroll through the page.

This picture is a representation of my navigation menu, although it only says page 1, 2 and 3 so far I plan to change these. I am also getting rid of the horizontal bar at the top and just keeping the vertical menu.

This is the body of the application, the header will change to something relevant to the app design, eventually content will be added and made responsive.

Character

Once I finished the logo design, I received the character designs.

In total there are 7 Characters.

The Characters where designed and created by Kirsty Northcote.

Icons

Jquery Mobile has icons implemented within itself, however you can add your own custom Icons.

To use custom icons, specify a data-icon value that has a unique name like mo-moustache. After you have done this the button plugin will generate a class by prefixing ui-icon- to the data-icon value, so when you apply it you must use: ui-icon-mo-moustache.

To keep inline with the rest of your icons create a white icon 18x18 saved as a PNG-8 with alpha transparency.

We use custom icons, for our own custom uses - jQuery mobile also has icons built within it, however sometimes they will not suit the application you are creating.

Theme Roller

Using Theme Roller, I have developed a theme for the app.

The guys have opted for the same sort theme as the Movember, and we are it keeping as black and white.

Additional icons will be added, such as a moustache amongst other illustrations.

Theme Roller is fairly simple to use, it allows you to pick and choose colours for certain elements within the app, it then puts it all in a zip file and creates CSS files within the zip file, once you download it you can then place them within your app.
